Former Mind Australia Chief Operating Officer Dr Margaret Grigg has been appointed to the Mind Board.
Dr Grigg brings a wealth of experience to the role as an experienced mental health professional with extensive experience across the health and government sectors.
The current CEO of the Victorian Institute of Forensic Mental Health (Forensicare) is also a non-executive Director on the Boards of Colac Area Health and HealthShare Victoria.
Dr Grigg’s previous roles have included Executive Director of Health Service Policy and Commissioning, Director of Mental Health with the Victorian Department of Health and Chief Operating Officer at Mind Australia (2012-2016). She was also named one of Victoria’s top 50 Public Sector Women in 2017.
“I am very excited to be returning to Mind Australia as a Board member. Mind plays an important role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of so many Australians,” Dr Grigg said.
“I am excited to be able to contribute to the direction of Mind and help it support the recovery of those experiencing mental ill-health.”
Dr Grigg officially joined the Mind Board as a Director in August 2022, she will be working alongside Professor Allan Fels AO, Chair, Ruth Picker, Director and Deputy Board Chair, Jeremy Coggin, Director, Leilani Darwin, Director, Teresa Fels, Director, Erandathie Jayakody, Director and Ruth Vine, Director.
Mr Fels welcomed Dr Grigg to the Board.
