Mind Recovery Retreats are a unique opportunity for people with mental health and wellbeing concerns to experience time away from home while reflecting on how to build wellbeing in their lives. Participants are supported by staff with specialised skills in mental health recovery in a safe, supported and flexible environment.
About Recovery Retreats
Recovery Retreats provide some respite from clients’ everyday routines, ranging from 3–4 day stays in picturesque locations throughout Victoria.
Mind provides high quality 24/7 support with daily living and personal care throughout the Recovery Retreats.
Support workers collaborate with clients to design the structure of recreational activities and learning workshops. This involves building social skills and confidence, as well as working on recovery goals in a group setting with people with similar life experiences.
Clients stay in private accommodation during the Recovery Retreat – there is no group accommodation. Food is also provided.
