Supported Independent Living - WILLIAMSTOWN

Supported Independent Living services are provided to residents who live in shared accommodation. At this residence, 24/7 support is provided by a staff team with specialised skills in supporting people with mental health-related disability and complex needs. They'll help you with daily life tasks and to develop your skills for independent living - including helping you to connect with activities and other supports in the community. Support is tailored to help you achieve the goals in your NDIS Plan Tenancy is managed separately by a third party agent.

Site description

Our property in Williamstown comprises of two separate buildings; one for men (unit 1) and one for women (unit 2). Both unit 1 and 2 comprise of 5 bedrooms, 2 of which include ensuites. There is shared kitchen, dining, living areas and also shared bathrooms and laundry. There is a shared communal lounge room on the site with a TV and a computer for the residents to use. There is also a meeting room, which is used as a private space to hold 1:1 meetings, etc. We have a large courtyard with outdoor seating, veggie garden and bbq area. The staff base is located within the premises but is separate from the residential living quarters. We are walking distance from local shops, cafes and the beach.

Who for:

People whose capacity to live independently is impacted by long-term mental ill-health and who have an NDIS package with Supported Independent Living services included to an appropriate level of funding.

How to access:

Applicants must be between 18-64 years of age and have the financial means to pay for the rent/board and utilities. Applicants should be looking for a place suitable for someone recovering from mental ill-health.
