Tickets are now available for One Door Mental Health’s annual Symposium, to be held on Thursday 15 May at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park.

For more than 20 years, the One Door Symposium has been a forum for leading advocates, researchers, and practitioners to present research and workshop insights to achieve meaningful change in the mental health sector.

This year, the One Door Symposium will be held alongside the Mind Stratford Lecture, which will be held in Sydney for the first time. The Mind Stratford Lecture and Stratford Scholarship honour the late Anthony Stratford’s immense contributions to lived experience leadership and the peer workforce. The theme for both events is ‘from vision to action – driving meaningful change in mental health’.

This year’s One Door Symposium and the Mind Stratford Lecture mark one year since Mind, One Door and The Haven Foundation joined to form the Mind Australia Group – one of the largest community managed mental health and wellbeing service specialists in Australia.

These complementary thought leadership events represent Mind and One Door’s shared commitment to supporting people living with mental health challenges, and positively contributing to sector reform – key factors in the decision to form the Mind Australia Group.

Mind Australia Group CEO Gill Callister said the One Door Symposium and the Mind Stratford Lecture were complementary events that will grow alongside each other and provide increased opportunities to influence sector reform.

“The One Door Symposium and Mind Stratford Lecture represent the best of both Mind and One Door, and this year we’re proud to come together to deliver these exciting contributions to lived experience leadership and transformation of the mental health sector.”
