Mind’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides support for you and your employees’ mental health and wellbeing. Our approach is tailored to your business needs and our expertise can lead to meaningful improvement in the lives of you and your staff.
Targeted psychosocial support is our core expertise. The new OHS obligations in Workcover legislation concerning psychosocial hazards in the workplace apply to all states and make this all the more important for small businesses and sole traders to be on top of.
Supporting your employee’s mental health and wellbeing is a great way to improve productivity and to demonstrate how much you value your staff and their contribution to your business.
Mind understands it is not just stressors at work that lead to staff burnout. Often these are exacerbated by pressures and experiences in our personal lives as well. Mind’s experienced Allied Health clinicians, take a holistic approach in supporting employees to improve their mental health and wellbeing. This includes:
- providing individually targeted education about what influences their mental health, and the strategies they can follow that support good mental health and wellbeing
- counselling
- stress management
- service navigation.
How many sessions?
The support is designed to be delivered over three sessions, with single sessions available as well.
Who is this for?
Anyone! This is for sole traders or small businesses who would like to purchase support for their employees.
Billing and Reporting
Sessions will be billed post-delivery, with invoices sent out at the conclusion of the month.
Mind uses outcome measures to ensure that our support services are effective. This measures the level of psychological distress a person is experiencing at their first session, then at the end of each subsequent support session. Comparing outcome measures allows us and the employee to track the improvement in their wellbeing over the support period.
We also provide businesses with the aggregate outcomes data for all employees they have purchased support for. This data is completely de-identified so that all employee's support remains completely confidential and anonymous.
