Peer support program - Heidelberg Heights

This initiative ensures peer-based recovery support for people who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms and are being treated in hospital. Support continues as an outreach program for up to 28 days after discharge.

People who are patients in an acute psychiatric unit.

How to access:

Request support via the in-patient staff at Austin Hospital.

Outcome statement:

Feel supported and better prepared to live safely in the community post-discharge.
